theFarmer has the discretion to decline any order placed, or cancel any order for any reason. Whilst every effort is made to ensure prices are always correct on our website, mistakes can occur from time to time. If this is the case, theFarmer will notify you of the error and you will then have the choice to either accept the correct price or to cancel your order. Transactions will appear on your credit card statement as Broken Compass Ltd for any transactions through this website.

Please keep your login and password safe; customers are liable for every order made under their login.

All prices displayed on our website are in NZ Dollars and include GST.

theFarmer use DPS for all online credit card payments. We do not collect or store any credit card information. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details. DPS is New Zealand's largest and most preferred gateway provider.

Paying in Installments

It's possible to pay in installments if your purchase is over $200. You will need to supply a credit card that has an expiry date after the last installment payment. Installments will be taken via credit card on the frequency chosen by you at time of checkout. Products will be shipped once the final payment has been received. You will receive receipt emails once a payment installment has been processed.

Delivery/Shipping

We will endeavour to dispatch all orders received within 3 working days of receiving payment for your order.  If the requested product is out of stock, you will be notified and will be extended the option to cancel, change your order or wait for the product to become available.

We use New Zealand couriers for delivery of goods. Cost of shipping is Free. No charge for Rural Delivery. Overseas postage will be on a case by case basis, please contact us for further information

Refunds/Returns

If you receive a product that is damaged or if you are unsatisfied with the product please contact us within 7 days to request a replacement. We expect the product to be returned to us ‘unused’, in its original packaging, using the same method as the initial delivery. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item. If your returns request is approved a replacement will be sent or a refund will be made.

Our standard right of return or exchange is subject to the following conditions:

- Goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition.
- Any item purchased on a sale or an end of line items can not be returned.
- Any item that has been custom made or altered.
- Any item that has been specially ordered in for a customer.
